

Mrs. Hall was born January 25, 1935 in Griffin, daughter of the late John Rufus Sledge and the late Mary Jo Baxley Sledge. She was a member of Kincaid Memorial United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hall worked for Spalding County for over 40 years where she was a dispatcher for the Spalding County Sheriff’s Department, jailer and bailiff, was the first 911 Director and was instrumental in bringing 911 to Spalding County. Mrs. Hall was an avid bowler and was known as “Spook.” In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Leo Rothbauer and James Hall; daughter, Susan Hall; sister, Ruth Blair and brother, Jack Sledge.
Survivors include her children & their spouses, Anita & Michael Crawford, Donald T. “Skip” Hall, Tracie & Tommy Summers and Michael “Ike” & Diana Hall; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; special nieces, Donna Fowler and Virginia Gregory. Other nieces & nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Annette Hall will be held Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Stan Ayers will officiate. Burial will follow in the old section of Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
