

Betty Ann was a great friend, mentor, avid reader, gardener and cook. Most importantly, she was a wife, mother and grandmother. She was sociable and never met a stranger; she was compassionate, welcoming and mother to all.
Betty Ann was preceded in death by her oldest granddaughter Lindsey Gail Daniel. Betty Ann is survived by her husband of 60 years Richard Hyatt; six children, Gail (Lee) Daniel, Patty (Mark) Beckham, Steve Hyatt, Stan (Joyce) Hyatt, Vicki (Mike) Hyatt and Sam (Cheryl) Hyatt; grandchildren Katie (Adam) Nelson, Emily Ann Daniel, Justin Hyatt, Jordan Hyatt and Philip (Meridith) Beckham; and great-grandson Parker Beckham. She is also survived by her sisters Shirley (Thomas) Reeves, Brenda (Ken) Coryell, Norma (Joe) Hyatt, and Carlene Shields; and her brothers Gary (Karen) Farmer and Terry Farmer.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Haisten McCullough Funeral Home in Griffin. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held the following day on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel.
