Mrs. Christina "Tina" Hammond

Mrs. Hammond was born May 20, 1943. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Evelyn McElroy Smith and brother, Mac Smith.

Survivors include her husband, John Edward Hammond; son & daughter-in-law, John Edward, Jr. and Jessica Hammond; daughter, Nancy Evelyn Hammond; grandchildren, Anna Christine Hammond, Ashley Lane Hammond, John Edward Hammond, III; brothers & sisters-in-law, Cecil & Gail Smith, Chuck & Kathy Smith and Phil & Micki Smith as well as Joan Smith. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Michelle Hammond will be held Monday, October 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church. Dr. Mark Sellers will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 4 – 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
