

Mr. Kendrick was born February 17, 1944 in Griffin, son of the late Walter David Kendrick, Jr. and the late Mary Berry Kendrick. He attended Oak Hill Baptist Church and was a former member of Day Spring Church. Mr. Kendrick retired from the G-S County School System after working 31 years. He loved to fish, loved sports and coached softball with the Recreational Department. Mr. Kendrick was an avid UGA Football and Griffin Football fan. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Louvie Mitchell Kendrick and mother-in-law & father-in-law, Robert & Myra Smith.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Elaine Kendrick; daughter & son-in-law, Derek & Mary Passmore; granddaughters, Myra Dalaine Passmore and Katherine Lin Passmore; brother & sister-in-law, Walter & Kay Kendrick; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Roscoe & Pam Smith, Fay & Gebron Smith, Jenny & Larry Thomas, Albert & Ava Smith, Ray & Phyllis Smith, Sammy & Patty Smith, Renee & Steve Phillips, Rita & Wesley Haley, Leon Smith and Lamar & Debi Smith.
Funeral services for Mr. Danny Ware Kendrick will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Gene Turkett will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
