He was born in Opalaki, Alabama on December 29, 1942, to the late Earl and Eunice Brock Harper.
He is survived by two sons, David Harper and Gary Harper and his wife Miranda all of Arizona; daughter, Connie Harper of Griffin; brother Kenneth Harper of California; sister Shelia Harper of California; Grandchildren, Aaron Harper, Derrick Harper, Jarrett Harper, Gene Babb and Lindsey Mills; Great Grandchildren, Andrew Babb, Benjamin Babb, Bryson Mills and Waylon Mills.
Memorial services for Mr. Harper will be conducted on Monday December 19, 2011 at 3:00 pm, in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service hour.
