Mrs. Edith Marie Koch Ellis

Mrs. Ellis was born February 27, 1937 in Lake Stevens, WA, daughter of the late William C. Koch and the late Sophie M. Ferslev Koch. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church. Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her husband, Barney O’Neal Ellis and brother, Hans Koch.

Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Kimberly & Nathan Bouchard of Griffin, Shannon & Mic Savage of Williamson; grandchildren, Wil Savage and Sophia Savage; sisters, Inga Pearson of Stanwood, WA and Marna Fitch also of Stanwood; brother Carl Koch of Stanwood, WA and many nieces, nephews, many cousins in Denmark and her church family at St. John Lutheran Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Marie Koch Ellis will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church. Rev. Katherine Pasch will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is accepting flowers, however, those desiring may make contributions to the St. John Lutheran Church, 1689 Martin Luther King Pkwy., Griffin, GA 30224 in memory of Mrs. Ellis.
