Mr. Lynch was born May 30, 1929 in Zebulon, son of the late Alonzo & Alice Velma Smith Lynch. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and owned & operated Lynch Machine Shop for 22 years. Mr. Lynch enjoyed fishing, vegetable gardening and playing guitar.
Survivors include his daughter, Judy Scott of Griffin; sons & daughter-in-law, Milton & Kim Lynch of Griffin and Mike Lynch of Williamson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A graveside funeral service for Mr. George Raymond Lynch will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Westwood Gardens. Rev. Barry Jones will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 12 – 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
