

She was a member of Berea Christian Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was known for being a master seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Chappell.
Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Marian & Paul Daigler of Atlanta; son & daughter-in-law, Paul W. & Beth Chappell of Hamilton; grandchildren, Laura Chappell, Marshall Chappell and Emily Chappell; brother, J.W. Still of Texas; nephew, Cecil & Judy Sargent of Michigan and various nieces & nephews in the Chappell, Barnett and Foster Families.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Dennis Fulton, Rev. David Fulton and Rev. Vic Whited will officiate. Interment will follow in the Berea Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346 or the Berea Christian Church Music Ministry, 37 Woolsey Rd., Hampton, GA 30228 in memory of Mrs. Chappell.
Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Rd. is in charge of arrangements.
