

Mr. Bellingham was born April 12, 1933 in London, England to the late Helena Riedel & Henry James Bellingham, II. He was raised in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from New York College. When he was 18 years old he became a U.S. Citizen and later joined the Naval Reserves. He was an All-American Swimmer and held many records for the butterfly stroke. After college Hank went to work for Dundee Mills in the New York office. He transferred to Dundee Headquarters in Griffin, GA in 1962. He spent his career of 37 years with Dundee where he retired as the Southeastern Sales Manager.
What an exciting life Hank led. He had lots of loves in his life, family, Sacred Heart Church, Dundee Mills, golf, movies and the theater. Twenty-five years ago Hank had a stroke from which he made a remarkable recovery. He took advantage of his second lease on life enjoying it to the fullest.
Survivors include his wife, Colleen Bellingham; son, Henry James (Jamie) Bellingham, IV; daughters & sons-in-law, Darlene & Steven Howard, Pamela & Ronald Gasaway; grandchildren, Justin, Kristin & Lauren Brooks, Hope Gasaway & Parker Bellingham; step-children, Rodney & Juanita Killingsworth, Kelli & Alton Floyd and step-grandchildren, Kayla & Katy Ann Killingsworth and Amber & Zachery Harmon.
Funeral services for Mr. Henry (Hank) James Bellingham, III will be held Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Westwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit the family on Friday, October 29, 2010 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 1323 MacArthur Dr., Griffin, GA 30224 in memory of Mr. Bellingham.
Hank was a New York yankee who came to the south and became a fine southern gentleman.
