James Walter Dozier

Mr. Dozier was born October 15, 1940 in Griffin. He graduated from Georgia Tech and loved to play the trumpet. Mr. Dozier was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh & Ann Daniel Dozier.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Spain Dozier; son & daughter-in-law, Jim W., Jr. & Carla Dozier; brothers & sister-in-law, George & Pat Dozier and Tom Dozier; grandchildren, Devin Dozier and Jessica; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Michael McElheney and Rt. Sgt. Mjr, Terry Joe & Vickey Spain. Nieces & nephews also survive.

A funeral service for Mr. James Walter Dozier will be held Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
