Mr. James Talmadge "J.T." Fogarty

Mr. Fogarty was born October 21, 1934 in Meriwether County son of the late Alma Cleveland Fogarty and the late Talmadge Fogarty. He was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Fogarty; brother, Garon Fogarty and sister, Frances Manley.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Thelma Caverly Fogarty; children, Martha & Willie Griffin of Brooks, Michael & Cindi Fogarty of Griffin, Faye & David Iverson of Newnan and Johnny & Davey Fogarty of Brooks; brother & sisters, Melvin & Opal Fogarty of Griffin, Charlotte Solomon of Zebulon, Velma & Wendell Hinton of Thomaston and Jean & C.D. Tanksley of Brooks; grandchildren, Bonnie Griffin, Jamie Griffin, Tamara Harmon, Dustin & Meagan Tanner, Rebecca Fogarty and Katie Fogarty; great-grandchildren, Heather & Alex Herrin, Emma & Adelyn Harmon and James & Jake Griffin.

Funeral services for Mr. Fogarty will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
