Mr. James "Jimmy" H. Crawford Jr.

Mr. Crawford was born July 18, 1928 in Griffin. He was a member of the Damascus Christian Church where for years he served as Elder. Mr. Crawford was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Crawford and father, James Harvey Crawford, Sr.

Survivors include sons & daughters-in-law, John D. & Kim C. Crawford of Conyers, Wayne & Susan M. Crawford of Brooks; grandchildren, Megan & Trent Blalock, Jared Crawford, Whitney & Greg Vasey of Boston and Taylor Crawford of Richmond, VA; great-grandchild, Ewell Blalock; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Frances Goddard and Peggy Giles and cousin, Charles Westmoreland. Nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. James H. Crawford, Jr. will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Glen Duncan will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
