oh jesse, i never thought we would miss you so much.my mom,johnny,mikie,landen,the girls,ed and i.we all wanted to tell you happy birthday and we will stop bye and see you as often as possible.everytime i think of you i see you sittin in your big green cozy recliner watchin tv or sometimes snoozen even times when you had fell in love with one of our pets and had them curled up in your lap.well im here too tell you that the 3 boys love and miss you very much.landen wears you on his shirt everyday n nite,its an angel pin and says its pop pop.mikie is askin me all kinds of questions why your are gone and johnny is very mad and confused about u being gone and wants too draw you pichures and leave them with you so dont be surprized when you find pichures of mud boggin trucks,trains or scribbles on your site .we will never stop loven you jesse         love you always and forever ,shelly

Jesse you were a wonderful person. You were graet to all 3 kids. You loved to watch Johnny play outside and as he got olddre you had pasents with him. You were there for Mikie and his trip to Columbus and Atlanta. Even if it was just a check up. You loved to hold Landen and he loved you to hold him. The night we went to say our good byes and send our love Landen knew something was wronge. As soon as we got to your house he ran inside and up into the chaire next to you that grandma spent day and night in. He grabed your hand and started to talk to you. He held on to you and wouldn't let go. Later that night he tryed to play peek a boo with you. The day we layed you to rest I gave Landen an angel pin and told him it was you. We were going to give you to the angels. I told the boys when they look at a christmas tree to look at the angel on top. It's you watching them and when they are out side at night to look up at the stars. You would be looking down on us. You were wonderful to our grandmother and to all of those you have meet. You will never be forgoten. We all love and miss you verry much. You will forever be in our hearts and on our minds. May you rest in peace. LOVE Nancy

I enjoyed what time I got to spend with Jesse. From when he first helped my family move down to Georgia in 02 to his passing just a week and a half ago. Jesse has been in my family for 13 years now this past November. And to me it wasn't enough of time, but I remember the times when we were both younger and I would get him to chase me around the yard. When I would stay with them for months at a time and help out and keep Gramps in check if you will by joking around and watching t.v. He even got me to sit a handful of times and watch the Braves games. The first time he met my fiance Michael at the hospital when I had to limp my way into the building barefoot and holding on to Michael for support due to Grandma wrapping my foot after I almost cut my toe off on my laptop case. She was to funny picking at me how she had to get back to Jesse and I just had to hold her up bleeding all over her kitchen floor. Well when he seen Michael and I hobble in to his hospital room he just got the biggest smile and fell in love with Michael. The weeks after his return home Michael and I stayed at his house to help out and take care of him. Whenever Michael or Dale was at work he would always ask Grandma where are the boys? Or if Michael and I were at my moms house or at Michael's house checking on things where we were. Jesse was a very loving man. He loved my nephews to death. The night before he passed I was out to dinner when my mother brought the boys over to see him. Landen the 2 year old held his hand and talked to him that night. He loved his Pop Pop. I was truly heartbroken when my Grandmother woke Micheal and I up to tell us. I'm pleased to have had him in my life and great full that I was there in the end to let him know how much I cared. From the bottom of my heart I love my Grandpa Jesse and will forever miss him. Promise to visit as often as I can. In Landen's words, enjoy spending time with the angels.

jesse, you may not of been my real dad but was just loved as much as my real dad.you treated me and my family as if we were your real family.you were the best thing that ever happened too my mom.your great grandsons johnny, mikie and landen miss you lots. you were there for mikie threw all his health problems.johnny threw his hard and bad times.you were landens buddy,he looked forword to goin too pop pop jesses as they all did. we all love you ,shelly
