John W. "Bill" Scarborough

Mr. Scarborough was born March 13, 1960 to the late Joseph Mabry and Grace Roper Scarborough. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and a member of the National Rifle Association and Safari Club International. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Scarborough.

Survivors include his granddaughter, Gracie Gilmore of Jackson; brothers & sisters, Lynn & Kenneth Owens of McDonough, Joe Scarborough of Fayetteville and Donna Witte & John Templeman of Jonesboro; step-son, John Tanttari and step-grandchildren, Dylan and Taylor Tanttari. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. John W. Scarborough will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
