Ruby Dodge Avery

Mrs. Avery was born on February 26, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Emory and Mable Landon Dodge. She was a homemaker and a member of Midway United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Avery.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Lonnie Carter, Carol and Rod Barnes, and Tana McFarlane; 7 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Ila Wheeler; brother, Earl Dodge.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Dodge Avery will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from noon until the service hour.
