Mrs. Morgan was born on June 26, 1921 in Pike County. She was the daughter of the late Ayche and Pellie Ballard Davis. She retired from Spalding Knitting Mills and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey Allen Taylor, Sr. and Rev. Eddie Morgan; son, Harvey Allen Taylor, Jr. and grandson, Eric Taylor.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and George Saunders; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Sheryl Taylor; daughter-in-law, Margaret Taylor; 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Cryptside funeral services for Mrs. Sara Taylor Morgan will be held Friday, February 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Oak Hill Mausoleum. Her grandson, Rev. Clint Taylor will officiate.
