

Mrs. Peaden was born January 14, 1950 in Thomaston, GA, daughter of the late Everett and Renie Loosier. Her family owned and operated Loosier Furniture Store in Thomaston for many years. Mrs. Peaden graduated from R.E. Lee Institute and Gordon College. She was a full time homemaker who dedicated herself to her family’s wellbeing. Mrs. Peaden was a fixture at her son’s school and extracurricular activities, and in later years relished the role of grandmother to Blake and Grace. Before her health declined, she was an avid bridge player and member of several bridge clubs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Earnest Peaden, Sr.
Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, Rett and Vivien Peaden of Dunwoody; grandchildren, Blake and Grace Peaden; stepchildren and spouses, Harry and Cindy Peaden of Peachtree City, Mike and Pam Peaden of Fayetteville, Dianne and Dean Dorminey of Senoia; 12 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law & sisters-in-law, Larry and Patricia Peaden, and Paulette Durden, all of Griffin. The family also wishes to acknowledge dear friends, Mildred Caldwell of Yatesville, and Barbara and Margaret Long of Warm Springs.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service.
