Mr. Willie Lloyd Howard

Mr. Howard was born October 30, 1933 in Griffin to the late John Howard and the late Ola Bell Williams Howard. He was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Howard was an avid outdoorsman, loved to fish, hunt and loved to work in his yard where he took great pride. He was retired from Georgia Power.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Howard of Williamson; sons & daughters-in-law, Calvin E. Howard & Karen Yarbrough of Jonesboro, Dondra & Shelia Howard of Griffin; daughters & sons-in-law, Andrea Howard & Danny Flemister of Meansville, Wanda Howard & Grady Miles of Vienna; grandchildren, Tonya, Quartez, Takevia, Taylor, Turon and Jordan; 4 great-grandchildren and sisters, Hazel Moore, Bessie Williams and Jessie Williams all of Griffin. Nieces, nephews and other family also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Howard will be held Monday, April 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Brother Willie Miller will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
