Adeline Hilda Schnabel

Adeline Hilda Schnabel, age 97, died on Monday, April 17, 2017. She was born on Wednesday, October 22, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan. She is the daughter of Josephine and Adolph Zachow. Adeline married Frank Albert Schnabel on April 27, 1946. Together they had three wonderful children. Adeline was an avid Tigers fan that loved to watch her favorite player Alex Avila. She loved horses even though she never rode one. Adeline loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and always looked forward to seeing them again. Beloved wife of the late Frank Albert Schnabel. Loving mother of Frank Alan Schnabel (Pamela Karasch), Arlene Morris (the late Bruce), and Michael William Schnabel. Dearest grandmother of Joy Curtiss, Jay Morris, Bridgette Strickland (Steven), and Chelsea Schnabel. Great-grandmother of Shelby Klein, Gary Klein III, Cody Schwartz, Tyler Schwartz, Isabella Ross Mayville. Predeceased by 4 siblings, Louise Zachow, Alice Johnson, Roland Zachow, and Adolph Zachow. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Adeline to the Arthritis Foundation.
