Barbara Concepcion Duke

Barbara Concepcion Duke was born on August 15, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan. She is the daughter of the late Gabriel and Josephine (nee Delatorre) Torres. Barbara went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 23, 2015. Barbara is a member of Faith Baptist Church in Warren, Michigan since 1993. She worked for over 20 years as a lab technician at Bon Secours Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Barbara is the faithful and beloved wife of the late Paul Arnold Duke of 48 years. Loving mother of Richard Steven (Christen) Duke and Michael Shawn (Kellie) Duke. Cherished grandmother of Angel (Terry) Brookins, Tony (Mary) Destefanis, Joshua Duke and Rebecca Duke. Great-grandmother of Emma Rose Brookins. Sister of Sylvia, AnnMarie, Gabriel, Richard and Kathy. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Funeral service Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00am at Faith Baptist Church, 26510 Schoenherr Road, Warren. Interment will be in Ruths Chapel Cemetery in Livingston, Tennessee.
