Barbara Anne Zeiger

Barbara A. Zeiger passed away on February 5, 2012 at her home in Grosse Pointe Woods. She was born on July 11; daughter of Maxamillian and Barbara Mentley. Barbara married Robert R. Zeiger on October 25, 1958 at St. David Church in Detroit. The couple lived in an apartment in Detroit. They later moved to St. Clair Shores and moved to Grosse Pointe Woods in 1977 and have lived there ever since. Barbara was a wonderful cook. Her gardening skills were amazing as she kept a garden every year. She leaves behind her loving husband Robert R. Zeiger. She was proud of her children Robert R. Jr. (Rosemary), Paul K. (Camille), and Karen (Jason) Dilley. She adored her grandchildren Diamond, Max, Evan, Ben, Elizabeth, Rosey, and Kate. Barbara was predeceased by her sisters Margaret Clinton, and Maxine Clinton (Roy). A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at St. Joan of Arc Church 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores. Fr. Simon will officiate.
