Barry Michael Quinn

Quinn, Barry Michael. Passed away over the weekend of August 15th. Barry was born on April 24, 1957 in Grosse Pointe. He graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School and attended Ohio State University. After working in accounting positions with various Detroit area companies, he established his own tax and accounting practice, serving individuals and small business clients on Detroit's east side. When Barry wasn't "Quinn the Tax Man", he enjoyed golf, hunting in Northern Michigan, and always the camaraderie of his good friends. He will be missed. Barry was preceded in death by his parents Barry Martin Quinn and Eleanor Patricia Quinn of Grosse Pointe Park, and brother James Timothy Quinn of Detroit. He is survived by his sister Maryann (Quinn) Slattery of Gillette, Wyoming and brother Thomas Quinn of Dallas, Texas, as well as a niece and three nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday August 22nd at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Grosse Pointe Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
