Benedict Bongiorno Sr., age 84 of Warren, passed away March 31, 2019. He was born in Detroit on May 18, 1934; the son of Joseph and Eleanor (nee Selke) Bongiorno. Beloved husband of the late Barbara "Goldie" for 64 years. Loving father of Robin (Robert) Saad, Vicki (Timothy) McLennan, Benedict Jr. (Donna) Bongiorno, Robert J. (Kathleen) Bongiorno and the late Ricky (surviving wife, Carol) Bongiorno. Treasured grandfather of Jennifer, Roberta, Ryan, Ricky, Timothy II, Samantha, Jacqueline, Angela, Benedetto II, Dominic, Geena, Anthony and Julia. Proud great-grandfather of Brittany, Gabriela, Morgan, Ava, Kennedy, Aydin, Logan and Jordan. Dear brother of Mary Amato, Dee Hartigan and Joe Bongiorno. Ben's family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 2nd from 2:00PM until 8:00PM with an evening rosary at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile) in Warren. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 3rd at 10:00AM at the funeral home.
