I will never forget the fun times I had with Cathy. She was really a fun loving friend. I always thought she and Ali McGraw (Actress from Love Story) resembled each. I will always cherish the times we had together.

Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Boo was such a precious person. She will be so missed by so many. Rest in peace sweet Boo.

Dear Kelly and family, Words can't begin to express how sorry I was to hear about the passing of Cathy. My heart goes out to each of you. I asked about her today at work and a colleague told me the sad news. I felt tears well up in my eyes, and such deep sadness. Although I only met Cathy for a short time, I feel that she truly made an impression on me. Ive never met anyone who could laugh, and make other people laugh, despite her own pain and hardships. Too many laughs, memories and stories to tell about here. I have never been in the same room with Boo without her making me laugh my a** off. Whether making memories or recounting them, she always made me laugh. She was the instigator of many fun adventures. She was a bright light on this earth and now her light will shine on us all from above.

Each of us has lights in our lives that will shine through the ages. For me, Cathy was one of those lights. That light of friendship began shining when we were 12 years old, then at some point, it went low-beam for 30-some years. We became reacquainted a few years ago, and that light of friendship shined on high-beam once again. Her quick wit and humor could light the darkest room. I've always been proud she considered me a friend.

I will miss your laugh, your uplifting attitude, your voice... the everything that make up this beautiful friend I have loved for so many years. Dance with the Angels.. Our Adat Shalom family has lost a bright, warm star. Cathy made everyone feel at home, and was funny, warm and genuine. She had an amazing memory for names and family connections, and we laughed a lot. She made the time fly when we waited for the kids to get out of religious school. This is a stunning loss. May the memory of her laughter heal your hearts. Her beautiful soul will live on in the memories of all who were lucky to spend time with her. We recently reconnected through Facebook that resulted in a telephone conversation to catch up on the 35 years since our last talk. We spoke about how we thought of each other often but somehow lost track. I'm grateful we shared the condensed story of our lives and will remember her always with adoration!
