Recently, my mother-in-law (Catherine's sister-in-law) passed away. My husband and I received a lovely letter of condolence from Aunt Kay reminiscing about fond memories of her brother Raymond and his wife Evelyn. It was only a week later that she wrote me to say that her husband Jim had also recently passed away. Aunt Kay and I exchanged a few more letters where she told me about her wonderful children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was clearly very proud of them. I kept her up-to-date on news of her older brother, and I also sent her photos of her nephew (my husband), and her great niece and nephew whom she had never met. In these days of electronic communication, it felt very quaint, yet fulfilling, to actually write a letter to someone and post it in the mail. I had looked forward to continuing our correspondence. My deepest sympathy to the entire family on the passing of your mother and of your father just a short time ago.

When someone passes away you always remember the last time you saw them. The last time we saw Catherine at the beach, she & Jim were expressing their joy about the wonderful blessed life they had with their family. I have no doubt that's what their doing together in Heaven. Ron & I have wonderful memories of them both. The Atlantic Sand Dollar Condo Asso. will never be the same without them!!

My sympathy goes out to my Aunt Kay's children. She always had kind words and ways about her. Although I have only seen her a few times in my lifetime, I feel like I saw her every day because we were pen pals which started when I was a young girl. She always kept me informed of what her family and my mother's family was up to. Although I spelled it differently, Catherine, I took her name for my confirmation name. After my mother passed, she & I continued the phone calls that my mother & her had continued for years. She was a wonderful aunt and I will miss her very dearly!!! I love you Aunt Kay! You will always be in my heart!

It just seems like yesterday we were sending our prayers to Kay for Jim now our prayers will go to the Healy Family. As we said once before, NSB will not be the same without Jim and Kay here. We are so very grateful that our paths did cross and did get to share some wonderful times together which we will always cherish. You will never be forgotten and our hearts and prayers are with the family.

Mrs Healy was such a wonderful role model for so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family today and always!

Kay you were truly loved by many and there is a large hole where you once were. You may be gone but never forgotten. I will always remember how you and your family befriended me at the family picnics.

We only met once or twice shortly after I came to U.S,but Kay wrote to us often to tell about what was happening in the family. I always looked forward to her letters and shall dearly miss them.

The reflection of my childhood includes Mrs. Healy on so many levels, all in loving remembrance. As a "Woodcrest" neighbor and mother of my best friends from elementary through college, she was always a shining example of her Philadelphia heritage. She was consistently kind and thoughtful and instilled great values in her children. I was impressed with her numerous entries in radio contests, with many prizes won, and I had wished some of her luck would come my way. Now that she is with Our Lord, she has earned the most important honor of all. My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to all of my Healy "Woodcrest" family.

Mrs. Healy along with her husband were a large staple in my life. You could not help notice there core values of family,caring, hard work. These same values will be carried on through there children that were fortunate to have parents like them. All our love and prayers to the Healy family. Randy, Cheryl, Sarah Shank
