Charles C. Reinhart

Charles attended Western Michigan University where he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.  While a student there he played basketball for the Broncos during his freshman year and was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity on campus.  Charles also received a specialty certification in banking from Rutgers University.  He became a vice president/trust officer at Manufacturers Bank where he worked for many years. 

He was a devoted member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Sterling Heights.  Charles possessed an inner strength and positive outlook that was an inspiration to his children and all those who knew him.  

His greatest joy was spending quality time with his loving family.

Charles is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Carol Reinhart; his loving daughters, Kristin Kozlowski (Dave), Carrie Stretten (Jason) and Linda Thomas (Chris); his sister and brother, Arlene Morton and Bill Reinhart; his 10 grandchildren; Robert, Jennifer, Luke, Kathryn, Carilyn, Jessica, Rachel, Zachary, Rebecca and Brooke.

Aside from his loving parents Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Ann Casaroll and his brother, Paul Reinhart.
