Charles Henry Reno

CHARLES RENO H. age 95 a resident of Warren and formerly of Harper Woods and New Port Richie, FL. Died September 1, 2009 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital Warren Campus. He was born in Port Huron MI. January 13, 1914 to the late Peter and Martha Reno. Charles married Beatrice(nee Herring) July 29, 1939 in Appelgate, MI, they just celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary. Mr. Reno retired from Chrysler Plant, Lynch Road Detroit.He was an active member of Gratiot Avenue Baptist Church and served as a volunteer firefighter with the Gratiot Township Fire Dept.(Harper Woods) He is survived by his wife Beatrice, children Larry(Nan)Reno and Kathi(Rick)Sherrill, also grandchildren R.C. Sherrill, Randy Sherrill, Kandi Sherrill and great-granddaughter Kalli Sherrill. Charles was predeceased by his grandson Adam Sherrill. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday September 4th at Cornerstone Baptist Church 17017 Twelve Mile Rd. Roseville with Pastor Robert Johnson officiating. Visitation 4pm until 9pm Thursday at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 32000 Schoenherr at Masonic(13 Mile Rd)Warren , additional visitation Friday at the Church 10 AM until time of Service. Memorial Contributions to First Baptist Church of Lewiston or Henry Ford Macomb Hospice-Warren Campus.
