Christian Michael Pluszczynski

Christian Pluszczynski passed away on August 19, 2018 at the age of 13. He was born on January 29, 2005 at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital; son of Bradley and Melissa. Christian completed 7th grade at Jefferson Middle School where he was on the honor roll, received the Citizen Award and a math award. He was wise beyond his years and enjoyed studying geography and social studies. He loved baseball and was a proud member of the Lac St. Clair Bulldogs. He was a left-handed 1st baseman and pitched. Christian also umpired machine pitch games for Lac St. Clair Little league where he loved working with the younger kids. In addition he loved basketball and football, Playing basketball and watching the Michigan Wolverines in any sport. Christian loved being around children. He had a protective nature and a playful presence around them. He was a joy to be around and will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him. Christian loved just about everything except for 2 things: chocolate and getting dressed up. With that in mind, if you will be in attendance for his visitation or funeral, please honor his memory by wearing his Lac St. Clair Bulldog colors (Blue, Orange, and White). Christian is survived by proud parents Brad and Melissa; loving brother Brendan; grandparents James and Lucille Elberson and Jeanette Oliva; great grand parents Stanley Pluszczynski, Patricia and Donald Champine; aunts and uncles Rob (Jamie), Jeff (Johanna), Colleen (Russ), Andrea (Byren), Matthew (Sierra), Amanda (Ken), Sara (Darrell), Jonathan; cousins Brittany, Isabella, Autumn, Alex, Gino, Kyla, Jacob, Caden, Dylan, Leah, Olivia, Zeke, Tyler, Dean, Logan, Max, Jonah, and Eoin (his partner in crime). Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. Christian will lie instate on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the Mass at 10:00 am at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 21120 Madison, St. Clair Shores. Interment will be private.
