Christos K. Vrahnos

Christos Vrahnos was born in Greece on December 7, 1930 the son of Kosta and Aspasia. Christos passed away on January 17 at Windemere in Warren with his family at his side, Chris came to this country as a young man with big dreams, and through the years raised a family, built businesses and everlasting friendships. His life can be best described by the quote "Live life to the fullest", which he did, always enjoying a good "glendi" surrounded by his good friends, good music and creating unforgettable memories. Chris was the beloved former husband of Margo, and the dear father of Seia LaDuke (Jim), Kosta, Mary Faur (Darryl), Helen Justice and Christina Vrahnos. He was the brother of Elias, Haralambo and Dina in Greece and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place Friday 2-9 pm with Trisagion 5:00 pm at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Avenue at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Chris will lie in state Saturday 9:30 am until time of service 10:00 am at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Road, St. Clair Shores 48080.
