Clifford Lee Murphy, Sr. age 73, died April 18, 2012 at St. John Macomb Hospital, Warren. He was born May 15, 1938 to the late Alice and Clyde Murphy Sr. Clifford retired from the railroad where he served as a supervisor for 38 years. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and traveling. "He served everyone he met" as stated by a close friend and neighbor, Bill Morris. Clifford was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth who predeceased him in 2007. Loving father of Kenneth (Peggy), Michelle, Elizabeth, Clifford II (Melissa), Julie (Cornell) Martinez, Patty (Memo)Machain, Victor, Melody and Christina. Dear grandfather of 9, brother of 8 sisters and PaPaw to Theresa Voss, James Voss, Benjamin Voss and Jennifer Voss. Visitation Sunday 2P.M.-9P.M. at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr. In state Monday from 10 A.M. until time of funeral at 11 A.M. Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 37899 Utica Road, Sterling Heights. Interment will follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens, Clinton Township.
