Corinne J. Smith

Corinne J. Smith was born June I, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan and entered into rest December 3, 2016 in Utica, Michigan at the age of 92. She was the loving sister of William (Goldie) Smith and the late Ethel Smith and daughter of the late Pauline and James Smith. Corinne was the dearest aunt of Deborah (Mike) Calverley, Paula (John) Tapert, Christina Smith and James (Sohyon) Chryssikos and great aunt to Garrett, Rachel, Kyle and Luke. Corinne was a long time resident of Grosse Pointe Farms and a member of Daughters of Penelope. Visitation Wednesday 2:30 pm- 9:00 pm with a Daughters of Penelope Service at 4:30 pm followed by a Trisagion at 7:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack at Vernier Road, Grosse Pointe Woods 48236. Funeral Thursday; instate 9:30 am until time of service 10:00 am at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 21800 Marter Road, St. Clair Shores 48080. Father Michael Varlamos will be officiating. Burial at Cadillac Memorials Gardens East in Clinton Township, Michigan. Donations may be made to Daughters of Penelope District 10 Scholarship Fund.
