Daniel Clifford Bahr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel “Danny” Bahr, 60, of Harper Woods and Houghton Lake, MI on February 21, 2025. Born April 21, 1964, in Royal Oak, MI, he was the son of the late Betty (Lynch) and Anthony Bahr.

Danny was a proud and loving father, cherished brother and great friend. With a smile that lit up the room, he was a positive force in the lives of many. An avid outdoorsman and people lover at heart, he enjoyed boating, skiing, fishing, and sharing his knowledge and skills with others. Visitors to the family resort will remember Danny’s welcoming personality and generous spirit. He was always there to help and knew how to get it done.

Danny is survived by his loving daughter Emily, and sons Daniel and David. He is also survived by Kimberly Viviano, the mother of his children. He was the dear brother of Karen Harris, Craig Bahr (Linda), Kevin Bahr, and Marlene Bahr (Erik Greer) as well as a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his beloved brothers, David and Brian Bahr.

We will celebrate his life and memory on Friday, March 7th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at A. H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. A Scripture service will be held at 7:00 pm. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church 21620 Greater Mack Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48080.
