Just discovered the passing of Dan. The finest person I ever worked for during my years at Bundy. Always concerned for the person.

Sue and family, We are unable to attend Dan's Memorial, but send our deepest sympathy and prayers. He was such a great man, and will be missed by so many. We are making a gift to the DGC caddy scholarship fund in his name, and requested that Dan be remembered daily in the Masses and prayers at Sacred Heart Monastery.

To the family of Dan Sheridan; Please accept my most heartfelt sorrow for your loss. I worked on a project with Mr. Sheridan and PTC Alliance many years ago as an engineer with Ford Motor Co. What a well organized fun individual to work with. My only regret is that I never took him up on his offer to play golf. May Dans' soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Dear Friends & Family, We are saddened to hear of Dan's passing but joyful in knowing he will be praying and interceding for all of us left here on this earth. We are in a "MAJOR" crisis that only God and His saints can save us by their love! Dan was a great friend & athlete at St. Paul's High School. His smile was very contagious! Always upbeat! A few yrs. ago Dan stopped to talk to me while I was counseling pregnant women in front of the abortion clinic in Eastpointe. He thanked me for being there and offering help to those who felt helpless. He encouraged me to "keep up the good work". I'll never forget it. Sue and family, you don't need me to tell you what a fine man you have enjoyed all these years. I first met Dan in the summer of 1955 when he transferred to St. Paul from Visitation, a trip I made in 1941 coincidentally. We became friends, teammates, classmates at St. Paul, even crewmates at Greater Detroit Landscape in 1956. Many an afternoon was spent in the Sheridan home waiting to go to practice, with Dick and Katherine, Jack, Mary and Margaret in and out of the den. I remember when he brought Sue home to Grosse Pointe from Xavier for the first time, and admired his good choice in life. So much happy history. Dan never seemed to vary over the years, always on an even keel. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Terry

Sorry to hear this sad news. Dan helped me back in our days together at Pittsburgh Tube when I first started calling in Detroit. He was always very positive and encouraging despite the fact that as he often said "you hear no a lot in sales". We had a lot of fun selling and playing golf at the DGC and enjoyed many excellent meals at the Roma Cafe or the old Joe Muer's on Gratiot. Rest in Peace Dan Sheridan!

The Sheridan Family: Danny and I shared a childhood in the Visitation (VISI) neighborhood of Detroit's west side in the 40s and 50s. What a great pal Dan was. We enjoyed being altar boys together at Visi and played every sport on the 7th and 8th grade teams. Dan was a loyal and true friend. Our friendship was re-kindled when Dan attended my sister Mary's funeral in Detroit more than 10 years ago. What pleasure my wife, Joline, and I had in meeting Sue and enjoying dinners and cocktails at the Roma Cafe. The Dear Lord has a great man and basketball player in his midst now and I'll join my boyhod friend some time in the future. God Bless, my old friend.

Dan was in my 1957 St. Paul graduating class. He was a great guy. In recent years we have conversed at our frequent class lunches and by email. He will be missed. Our prayers go out to Sue,the children and grandchildren. Ginny

Grandad was just plain awesome. One of the Dans. When my Mom told me he died... It left a hole in my heart and turned it black... He was great, He would take me and my brothers noses, And cheer me up. All the time. He was a great handsome man.
