David R. Semear

David Roy Semear born December 25, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to Daniel and Hattie Semear. He proudly served his country as a Staff Sargent in the Marine Corps. during Vietnam. Dave entered into rest May 26, 2017 at his home in Warren, Michigan. Dave enjoyed hunting and fishing, particularly fishing in the Clinton River. He loved his Detroit Tigers and always watched the games if he could help it. The beloved husband of the late Teena. Dear father of Harold, Sylvia, Daniel, David Wayne, Paul Brian, Kenneth, Eric, Katie, and the late David Roy Jr. Proud grandfather of 17, and great grandfather of 4. Brother of Daniel, Denise, Kathy and the late Joanne, Johnny and Pat. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 10am at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. Warren MI ( at Masonic, 13 Mile road), following will be a committal service at Christian Memorial Cultural Center, 521 E. Hamlin Rd. in Rochester Hills. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday and Tuesday 3-8pm at the funeral home. Please share a memory in our guest book.
