Dominic Militello

Dominic Militello passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22 at the age of 93 surrounded by his loving family. Dominic was born January 21, 1925 in Detroit Michigan, to Italian immigrant parents Joseph and Pauline Militello and was one of nine siblings. Dominic was married for 52 years to the love of his life, Mary, and they had five children Paula, Linda, Dominic Jr., Joseph and Samuel. Their five children went on to have 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Dominic was a devoted father that sacrificed much to support and provide for his family. He was a man of intense hard work, determination and integrity. Dominic was a resident of St. Clair Shores for over 50 years and spent most of his time enjoying the outdoors. He had a love for fishing, boating, camping, gardening and taking cruises with Mary. Dominic was very talented with his hands and could fix just about anything. Hell always be remembered for his perseverance through lifes many obstacles with his warm smile and hearty laugh. Visitation Thursday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with rosary at 7:00 pm.
