Edward Victor Kotwicki

Edward Victor Kotwicki died on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the age of 38. He was born on December 7, 1978 in Detroit, Michigan. Edward was a graduate of De La Salle Collegiate High School, class of 1997. He obtained a full ride scholarship in football at Central Michigan University. Edward continued his studies at General Motors Institute/Kettering University as well as Reutlingen University in Germany. He graduated in 2001 with a bachelor degree in electrical engineering. He enjoyed working with computers and spending the weekend out boating or downhill skiing. He will be remembered for his many accomplishments in football and track. Loving son of Mark and Frances Kotwicki. Dear grandson of Florence Start, the late Edward Start, the late Victor Kotwicki, and the late Ernestine Kotwicki. Brother of Mark II (Nicole) Kotwicki and Rachel Kotwicki. Uncle of Betty Kotwicki and George Kotwicki. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation for Edward will be Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 2:00pm until 9:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, at Masonic in Warren. He will lie in state Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass 10:30 A.M. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Rd, Warren MI 48093. Memorial contributions may be made to Father Solanus Guild with the Capuchins or De La Salle Collegiate High School would be appreciated.
