Elaine Florence DeFever

Elaine Florence DeFever, age 87, died on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She was born on February 24, 1930 in Detroit, MI. She is the daughter of the late Wilfrid and Martina LeDuc. Elaine was a gregarious woman who loved parties and dancing and held her family and friends very near and dear to her. Beloved wife of the late Barney Hallman, Paul Uzdill, and Raymond DeFever. Loving mother of Barney (Darla) Hallman, Daniel (Robbie) Hallman Sr., Steven (Kathy) Hallman and the late baby Joseph Hallman. Cherished grandmother of Marie (Eugene) Pallisco, Cheryl (Jeff) Turner, and Daniel Hallman Jr. Great-grandmother of 10. Sister of Albert (Mary) LeDuc, the late Lucille (Arnold) Grodi, the late Cecilia (Henry) Chronister, the late Sister Bernadette LeDuc, the late Remonne (Jack) Cardinal, the late Raymond (surviving wife Pauline) Leduc, and the late Gerald (Pearl) LeDuc. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Monday, April, 24, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road at Masonic, Warren. Instate Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 9:30 am until 10:00 am at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 48115 Schoenherr Road, Shelby Township. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, Troy, Michigan at a later date.
