Elaine Marie Shields

Elaine Shields, age 89, died November 1, 2012 at St John Hospital Detroit. She was born March 12, 1923 in Marquette, Michigan to the late Joseph and Marie L'Huillier. She was known as "Nana" to her children and grandchildren. Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Daniel who died in 1965. Dearest mother of Jerry Shields, Janet Peiffer, James(Sheila) Shields, and Lori Wines. Loving grandmother of Jennifer Shields, Jessica Shields, Jamie Shields, Eric Wines, Justin Wines, Patrick Wines, Daniel (Melissa) Peiffer, Daren (Julie) Peiffer, Brandon (Kelly) Peiffer, and the late Derek Peiffer. Great-grandmother of Preston, Peyton, Gianna, Carmella, Nadia, Shelby, Bailey, Jackson, Eden, James, Jason, Alaina and Hunter. Dear sister of Tucky Swajanen, Francis Bell, Joseph L'Huillier, Judy Malmgrem and the late Donald L'Huillier and Betty L'Huillier. Preceded in death by son-in-law, Terry Peiffer, Memorial service Thursday, November 8th, 1:00PM at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home. Visitation at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time. Inurnment Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton Township.
