Eric Allen Hughes was born in Detroit May 29, 1964 the son of Leslie K and Maryann Hughes. Eric was a talented artist and enjoyed gardening, watching movies and keeping up on current events. His passion was cooking. His family and friends would look forward to his invitations. Eric was a heating and cooling contractor for Ideal Heating Company, a family owned business began by his father. He liked to dote on his three nephews. Eric is survived by his children Alexandra and Alec, his brother Leslie A. Hughes, and his sister Charlotte Sarafa (Haithem). He is predeceased by his parents, Leslie K. and Maryann Hughes and his brother Gary Hughes. A memorial Mass will take place on a later date.
