Eric E. Reinbold

Grosse Pointe Woods resident Eric E. Reinbold passed away peacefully Monday, October 27, 2014. He was 93. He was born February 12, 1921, to Adam and Hedwig (Nee Hammerbacher) Reinbold in Saginaw County, MI. He attended the Michigan Lutheran Seminary, MI and also Concordia Lutheran High School and Concordia College in Fort Wayne, IN. Mr Reinbold graduated from Valparaiso University in 1946 with a Bachelor's degree in mathematics.He worked for Michigan Bell for 37 years, retiring in 1983 as District Manager in the Human Resources Department. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Grosse Pointe Woods, and past member of both the Senior Men's Club of Grosse Pointe and the Nomads air travel club. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Mr. Reinbold is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Evelyn, children, Noel (James) Paavola of Grosse Pointe Woods, Edward O. (Mary) Reinbold of Waukesha, WI; and Kathryn (Tim) Coleman of Almont, MI; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by grandson, Scott Paavola. Memorial Service Saturday November 1st, 1 pm at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 20338 Mack Avenue, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. Arrangements by A.H. Peters Funeral Home, Grosse Pointe Woods.
