Esther Raygosa Vasquez

Esther Vasquez, age 86, went to be with Jesus on May 30, 2009. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Jesse Vasquez. Esther is survived by her three children Guadalupe Matta, Richard Vasquez and Qui Qui (Bruce) Dagle; eight grandchildren, Randall (Renee) Vasquez, Shannon (Laurie) Parr, Richard (Beth) Vasquez, Derrick (Belinda) Parr, Erica Dagle, Breeana (Chad) Johnson, Lea Borg and Michael (Angela) Dagle. She is also the proud great grandmother of twenty-four; Austin Vasquez, Luke Parr, Tory Parr, Jake Parr, Crystal Parr, the late Desmond Parr, Gabriella Parr, Mariah Vasquez, Hannah Vasquez, Jenna Vasquez, Natalie Vasquez, Marina Parr, Marissa Parr, Marisol Parr, Mercedes ?, Jesse Dagle, Antonio Cordova, Nathan Johnson, Gabriel Johnson, Julian Johnson, the late Desirae Borg, Caleb Dagle, Layla Dagle and the soon to be Isaiah Dagle. Esther will be remebered as an extremely hard working woman who loved to sew, crochet, draw, garden and travel. Although she was somewhat serious much of the time, when she would say something funny, it would bring the room to tears. Esther was especially proud of her great-grandchildren and would proudly say "I have" and look at you and say, "How many great-grandchildren do I have?" you would then go through the list to get to that number, which would change with each passing year. She lived a full life and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 2-9pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Woods. Services will be held on Thursday, 10am at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, Grosse Pointe Woods.
