Farid Nageeb Freije was born on February 28, 1928 in Lebanaon; the son of Nageeb and Wadiha Freije. He died on Thursday, February 11, 2016 with family by his side. Farid was in the US Army with military intelligence during the Korean War. He married Jacqueline Srour on January 5, 1953. Together they raised seven wonderful children. Loving father of George Freije (Cindy), Georgette Prince, Antoinette "Denise" Freije (Bill Rogers), Claude Freije, Claudette Freije, Pierre Freije (Cathy Spears), and Fred Herro (Loretta). Cherished grandfather of six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Brother of Mounira Chammoun (the late James), Louise Chammoun (Chafik), and Nageebie Fraige (Joseph). Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
