Carol, Gary and Family, We were fortunate to have known your mom, dad and brother Ken. Our memories of Ken are ones which always include your mom and dad. Your home was filled with laughter, fun and place where we always felt welcome. May the memories you have of you father ease your sorrow.

I will remember the many times I tried to outbid you and only won it once. You finally gave in at 46, I got you at 45! And made it! I will miss our pinochle matches but have the cards ready for when I get there. To the family of George, I am so sorry for your loss, he will be greatly missed, his stories and his great sense of humor.

Sorry to hear of your loss. George and Elsie were a good friends to my parents; Bill and Helene Hodge. I have kept in communication with George throughout the years by exchanging Christmas cards. Our fondest memories were watching both of our parents work the German Festivals at Freedom Hill. Even though we can no longer see them, they are still in our hearts and are our angels watching over us from heaven!

Gary, we worked together for years. I never met your dad but I heard of him often. Somehow, I was not aware of his sense of humor. When we talked of your father it was usually about his love for your mom, how active he was in terms of driving, being an active member of the GP men's club, etc. It is clear from reading the memorials that you two had at least one thing in common ... a great sense of humor! So now I know where that came from. Gary, please know that you and your family are in our prayers!

Dear Carol and Gary, please accept my sincere condolences on the sudden loss of your father. To me, George was a fine father-in-law, a true gentleman, and had a wry sense of humor which he loved to share with everyone. Although I lost contact with him over the years, I so enjoyed seeing him again and chatting with him last year during Heidi and Scott's wedding celebrations in Washington D.C. Even at his advanced age, he had lost none of his sense of humor, nor his penchant for mischief making. He will be missed.
