Gerald D. Hardy was born in Detroit on February 8, 1936, the son of Gilbert and Ruth Hardy. Jerry was the beloved husband of Pat (nee Krist) for 49 years. He was the cherished father of Gerald (Denise) and Gregory (Dena)and the loving grandfather of Sierra, Cheyenne, Hana, Savanna, Amber, Rachel, Dakota and Ty James. Jerry is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jerry graduated from Denby High School in 1954, worked in the printing business for 43 years and remained in contact with friends and co-workers throughout his life. He was an avid Detroit Tiger fan and coupon clipper. Jerry and Pat enjoyed many years of travel, playing euchre and hitting the casinos. Eating out with old time friends was a favorite activity.
