Gregory Boukis, a resident of Roseville, passed away on November 4, 2020 at the age of 54. A son of Anthony and Efthemia (nee Athens), he was born in Greece on April 23, 1966. Greg made his career as an exceptional chef at Grand Riviera Restaurant in Eastpointe, which he co-owned with his family. He was known for his lamb chops, steak, and roast. Greg's roast was highly anticipated, and he made sure to share it with all of his friends. Greg enjoyed spending time with his buddies reminiscing, watching concerts on TV, and watching comedian Andrew Dice Clay. He wasn't afraid to voice his opinion and "tell it like it is." He loved watching and playing all sports, especially soccer. Greg had a talent for soccer- he almost pursued a professional career, but ultimately chose culinary arts. Greg encouraged his children's love of sports and proudly coached their baseball team. He will be dearly missed by many friends and family.
Loving father of Justin, Brent, and the late Nekko. Dear friend of Av, Dan, and George. Greg also leaves behind his Akita, Capone, who stayed close to Greg's side even outside the home.
