Hazen George Ziegler

Hazen G. Ziegler, Age 77 , May 4, 2010. Beloved husband of Sally for 55 years. Loving father of Kathy Bronikowski and Bruce Ziegler, Dear grandfather "Papa" of Alyssa Bronikowski. Hazen attended Southeastern High School in Detroit and attained a bachelors degree from WSU. A masters in education from U. of M. and specialist certification from MSU. He joined the ROTC at WSU and remained in the army for 30 years where he retired as a Lt. Colonel. He was a long term employee of Warren Consolidated Schools where he was a principal at Pennow and Fillmore Elementary Schools. He retired in 1987. Hazen was a avid golfer and enjoyed spending winters in West Palm Beach, FL. and the summers traveling throughout the country in their Airstream trailer. Visitation Friday from 2-9 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home 20705 Mack Ave. Grosse Pointe Woods, Funeral Saturday 10:30 am at First Christian Reformed Church, 1444 Maryland Ave, Grosse Pointe Park.
