My heart goes out to Helen's family since she left this world too soon. I met Helen when I was in college and we remained friends throughout the years. During our friendship, she always remembered to send a card on my birthday or over the holidays. Even though we didn't speak or see each other as often as we would have liked, we always managed to pick up where we left off. Her friendship was truly valued and will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.

My deepest condolences and sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Helen (Val) because she left this earthly world too soon. It is often said, "God takes us when it is time" and I know that Helen is in a far better place, but she was an inspirational and good person that this world definitely could have used a little longer. Helen was a soft-spoken, conservative and good person who was kind and always saw the "good" in others. Her inner strength was evident in the way she never complained and continued to work as a pharmacist as long as she could despite her illness. Over the years, we always kept in touch after college graduation and would talk about all the good days and bad days and funny events at work that occur on a daily basis. Our conversations both professional and personal that provided morale and understanding will be missed. She was a trustworthy friend and that is what will be missed the most. It is a reminder to us all that we need to do our best everyday because our time on earth is truly short. May God bless Helen , family and friends.

I will always remember Val's smile and always kind words. We spoke many times regarding different health issues. She fought such a strong battle. She had a smile no matter how much she herself was in pain. We both liked westerns and loved butterflies. She was the best pharmacist you could ask for. She would go above and beyond to find an answer if you had any questions. She loved Dan and we spoke of him often as to where he was assigned and so forth. She will be greatly missed here on this earth. She was welcomed with open arms in Heaven. God has a plan for each of us and this is the plan that called Val home. We love you and will always remember you. As you look down from Heaven I know you will help Dan and your family as they go thru this time. If they have a small portion of your strength they will get thru it. Love always Linda

I will always remember Val with her beaming personality and a smile that would go on forever. Even though she was battling cancer, she would continually ask me about my husband, Michael fighting his own health with Nocardia, she and I would talk about the devastation of both diseases. I know she is a beloved angel of God, as he chose her to be with him. I know she truly loved her beloved husband, Dan and her family. Being a huge Elvis fan myself, she and I would talk about his performances at the Olympia Stadium. I will miss her, but knowing she is looking down and guiding those she loved and cared about, I know she will live in my heart forever, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to work and converse with her, she was one of my pillar of strengths and will continue to be. I will always remember Valerie's bright smile and warm personality. We worked together for three years and she was the best boss I could have asked for. I will never forget her love for Caribou coffee which was always a weekend morning treat for both of us along with Subway lunch. I will always remember her stories and the fun times we had together at Walgreens. She was a joy to work with and a wonderful friend as well. She fought a long battle with cancer, but never lost hope and stayed positive through it all. She is in a better, restful place. May she rest in peace.
