

Honoria Roshak passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 27, 2012. She was born on February 14, 1925 in Detroit; daughter of John and Irene (nee Krzywkowska) Persa. Honoria married Arthur Roshak on May 1st, 1943 in Conway, Arkansas while he was in basic training for the Army. After the war they resided on Detroit's east side and have lived in Grosse Pointe Farms since 1964. She has been a member of St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church for over thirty years. Mrs. Roshak had numerous interests and hobbies. She enjoyed and maintained a beautiful garden. She loved to fish. Her love of travel had taken her and her family all over the world. Honoria's biggest love in life was her family. She leaves behind her husband of 68 years, Arthur. She loved her daughters Cheryl and Barbara. She was proud of her grandchildren Eli, Page, and Ashley; and great-grandchildren Drew, Alexa, and Henry. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2nd from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. She will lie instate on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am at St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, 157 Lakeshore Dr., Grosse Pointe Farms. Her cremated remains will be inurned at the St. Paul Columbarium. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John Providence Hospice, C/O St. John Health Foundation, P.O.
