James Joseph DeMaria died on Thursday, January 12, 2012. James is a member of Oddfellows Lodge 496. He enjoyed going to the casino and restoring his 1934 Ford Coupe. Beloved husband of the late Judith. Loving father of Denise (Larry) Baker, Robert, Christine (William) Burden, Cynthia (Christopher) Morisette, and Mark (Debbie). Dear grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 4. Predeceased by parents Otto and Madeline and brother Otto (Rosemary). Visitation Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd. at Masonic, Warren. In state Monday, January 16, 2012 from 9:00 am until time of Mass 9:30 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093. Interment will be Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
