Janice M. Kostera

Janice M. Kostera, age 72, a resident of Eastpointe, passed away in Detroit on Thursday, December 27, 2018 surrounded by her family. Janice was born on Wednesday, November 27, 1946 to Stanley and Stella Kopytek. Janice married her true love John Kostera on Saturday, October 7, 1967 in Redford. Janice was a wonderful homemaker. Her favorite memories were spending time with her family. She loved being on the water and boating with John and soaking up the sunshine. Janice enjoyed tending to her flower garden with John. She loved trips to the casino and playing slots and games on the computer. She had a wonderful way of making everyone feel loved. She will be missed. Beloved wife of John W. Kostera. Loving mother of Ronda (Alan) Lovely, Kristin, John W. (Tina) Jr. Dearest grandmother of Amber (Chris) Lovely, Lindsey (Mike) Saloiye, Britnie (Brian) Williams, Jamie, Shelby, and Nick. Great-grandmother of Emerson and Brian III. Janice also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Visitation Sunday 2-8 PM at the A.H.
